It’s not quite March 1, but I’m anxious to just start.

• Transcripts from my undergrad institution ordered.
• Resume updated.
• Advance thanks and “what I need from you” letter to recommendation letter providers in progress.  Send that letter tomorrow.
• Time carved out this weekend to work on a statement of objectives, and some starting concepts sketched out.

Then it’s all hurry-up-and-wait until the transcripts and letters come in, and then applications, and then more hurry-up-and-wait. SJSU does not require most of this material up front – just the transcript, fee, and application – but I’d like to have it all ready for them when those questions do come up, so I’ve emailed a request for a timeline.
